A J.C. Bourne's Coloured Plate of Blisworth Cutting from his 'Drawings Of The London & Birmingham Railway", 1839. In a quality frame measuring 17¾" x 14½" In very good condition.

A Lamp miscellany of 3 excellent items comprising: LNER LOCO 3 aspect Handlamp with initials down one side and 'Loco' down the other picked out in white and complete with a BRE & NE burner; LT 4 aspect Fogmans Handlamp emboseed 'LT' on one side and having an unmarked reservoir and burner; BR(M) 3 aspect Handlamp complete with a BR burner. All 3 lamps in excellent condition throughout.

A GWR Official Poem written by H. Moss, GWR Signalman Montpelier Station on the 18th July 1903 "The Record Dash of the City of Bath with the Cornish Express" July 14th 1903 London to Plymouth, T.R.H. Prince and Princess Of Wales Aboard. This wonderful item of considerable scarcity is presented on parchment paper with writing and border in gold print. It is in an original, glazed frame bearing a Wills & Rowney of Banbury label on rear and overall measures 16¼" x 11". Extremely good condition throughout.

Southern Railway Evacuation Notices, one pink one green. Obviously Private & Not For Circulation, they are numbered 'Evacuation Notice No. K.A. 1942' (20 pages) and 'K.B. 1942'(36 pages). These refer to the Kent Scheme and details train timetables from Birchington, Westgate, Margate, Broadstairs, Ramsgate, Minster, Sandwich, Deal, Dover, Folkestone, Hythe, New Romney, Lydd, Rye, Canterbury & Ashford. Both in excellent condition. A couple of quite historic publications.

A pair of working BR Acme Look-Out Horns, both stamped with the initials BR. Each measures 14¾" in length and both have the pair of 'eyes' affixed for sitting a strap. One is well used, the other is virtually mint. Together with a brand new, green BR Drivers Jacket manufactured by J. Compton & Sons, size F29. It was issued at Laira but probably never worn. The lapels have a pair of circular BR sew-on badges, yellow on black and the jacket fastens with x 3 BR Buttons.

A selection of miscellaneous plates from Class 52, Class 42 and other early Diesels. Includes 'This Locomotive Is Fitted With Automatic Fuel Shut-Off Valves' ex D600 (not much survives from these early Warships). Also 'Electric Construction Co. Ltd., Wolverhampton Dynostarter....etc' Plate, ex D801. There are 32 plates that also includes the small, official British Railways Totem on hardboard, use unknown. Additionally, a brass handle reputedly for a Warship and a few Push Buttons from the same class.

Meccano Catalogue dated 1937, issued from Genner's, 65 Watling Avenue Burnt Oak. Contains 72 pages packed with every Meccano related toy and kit produced up to 1937. Unfortunately, although vibrant, the cover has visible tape marks near the spine but the contents are crisp and quite superb.

A Hornby Dublo EDLT20 Locomotive & Tender "Bristol Castle" in original blue with white stripes box. The loco looks to be in excellent condition, almost mint and carrying the Bristolian Headboard. The box is reasonable with some scuffing and tape tears but it is sound. Inside is the original leaflet but this is cleanly torn in half. The loco is untested.

A Dinky Supertoys Pullman Car Transporter No. 982 in original white with blue stripes box. The model is in extremely good condition, quite probably never played with. Inside the box is a yellow box holding the No 994 Loading Ramp, this is almost mint, the box having scuffs and edge wear only. The main box is sound with edge scuffs and knocks as normal.

A Dinky Supertoys No. 660 Tank Transporter in original white with blue stripes box. The model is in exceptional condition, probably never played with. The box has scuffs and edge knocks and some splitting along the edges of the boxtop.

Totem, BR(W) PONTYPRIDD, H/F. Ex Taff Vale Railway station, built 1840. Very good condition albeit a little flat and mottled. Usual edge chipping with some loss and damage to the top flange, not noticeable from front at all. One tiny face chip in the centre of the first 'D'.

LNER Playing Cards 'Scarborough', a full set of 52 plus one Joker. Each card has a colourful view of the beach with boats, viaduct, promenade and headland. Very good condition overall, the Joker being the only card that has a couple of creases.Housed in a period, green leather wallet embellished 'Let Us Play'

A pair of LNER (so embossed) Welch Patent Signal Lamp Interiors each plated in slightly different style 'T. MILLS' signifying the one time extensive goods depot Temple Mills in East London, now the site of Eurostar stabling. Both carry the small brass plate 'Lamp Manufacturing Company' and both are in ex use condition with just one out of eight clear glass lenses cracked.

A GNR 24" Clock Face with wooden surround, overall measurement 29½". The dial is unrestored and shows the company initials at the top with the number 2589 beneath and then the makers name J.J. Stockall & Sons Ltd London beneath. A small crack in the glass neccesitated removal. Purely decorative because lacks workings, just right for that empty space on the wall. (DCO)

L&NWR leather bound, linen Plans 'Branch Lines Sandbach To Northwich And Hartford'. A pair, one being Section No 1 the other Plan No 2. Substantial plans opening out to reveal coloured detail. Unfortunately, these have not been stored well and are rather the worse for wear but the historical content cannot be overlooked so they are worthy of preservation.

Carriage Print, loose, Atlantic Coast Express London and the West Country from a water colour by Richard Ward. Depicts a streamlined Merchant Navy number 35013 pulling the 12 coach blood & custard rake through the Devon countryside. An extremely rare print, this one has some minor creasing and has been cut down but would still frame well.

Totem, BR(W) KIDDERMINSTER, H/F. Ex GWR station between Worcester and Birmingham Snow Hill, junction for the Severn Valley. Excellent colour and shine, usually edge chipping, the only minor face defect being a small chip in the first 'R' downstroke which barely detracts at all.

Together with LMS Official Letter dated March 4th 1929 from the Office of the President of the Executive, Euston Station to Sir Herbert Walker K.C.B, Southern Railway, Waterloo Station, regarding a conversation with Lord Ashfield. Together with LMS Official Letter dated March 4th 1929 from the Office of the President of the Executive, Euston Station to Sir Herbert Walker K.C.B, Southern Railway, Waterloo Station, regarding a conversation with Lord Ashfield. Together with a couple of Great Central Railway letters pertaining to the Pinxton Colliery Extension and also proposed sidings at Langton Colliery. Great Northern Railway mahogany cased Pegging Block Instrument. Single indicator on face shows 'Train On Line/Line Clear/Line Blocked' and beneath is the pegging handle with release mechanism for single-hand operation. There is a large box extension on rear housing the release mechanism. In exceptionally good condition.

A substantial timetable measuring 33" x 23½", green text and totems at each end on a white ground. Main area is trains Exeter, Newton Abbot, Torquay, Paignton, Kingswear, Dartmouth & Plymouth. Smaller timetables include Plymouth - Penzance, Truro - Falmouth, Liskeard - Looe, Lostwithiel - Fowey, Bodmin Road - Wadebridge & Padstow and St Erth - St Ives. Extremely good condirion with just a few insignificant, minor areas of knocks and scuffs. (DCO)

Signal Box hanging Gradient Card 'Worcester Shrub Hill - Stourbridge Junction'. Measures 29" x 9" and is somewhat grubby with top left and right corner areas missing (not affecting any lettering at all) Starts at Stourbridge North Junction with a pretty level track to Hagley and then a gentle fall through Kidderminster, Hartlebury, Cutnall Green, Droitwich, Fernhill Heath, Astwood Halt and ending at Worcester Wyldes Lane Junction.

There are 11 insets with closer detail and the whole thing is mounted on board with strengtheners at top and bottom, the top having 2x hanging eyes. Measures 48" high x 42¾" wide. Somewhat grubby and well used but a marvellous reference item. (DCO)

Together with a British Railways 3 aspect Guards Handlamp in excellent condition with reservoir and BR burner and a standard BR white Goods Van Lamp complete with reservoir and burner but in need of restoration. Together with a pair of GWR Telegraph Insulators in original condition and mounted on a small piece of blockwood.

Totem, BR(S) GROVE PARK, F/F, light green. Ex SECR station between Hither Green and Chiselhurst, opened in 1871.In excellent condition with deep colour and shine and just a small repaired chip to extreme left side and a few minor touch-ins on the white border.

British Railways (W) flangeless enamel Sign NO PARKING, 42" x 12". Good overall condition with some loss around the bolt holes and just in need of a good clean to remove the years of exposure to the elements.

Enamel Advertising Sign EMERGENCY TELEPHONE, white lettering on cobalt blue ground. Measures 25½" x 12", is somewhat mottled and has some bolt hole damage. Nevertheless, a scarce sign.

London Transport enamel Frieze RUSSEL SQUARE. The station was opened by the Great Northern, Piccadilly and Brompton Railway on 15 December 1906. Black lettering on white ground with blue stripe top and bottom indicating Picadilly Line. Measures 59" x 9" and is in extremely good condition. (DCO)

British Railways Home & Distant Upper Quadrant Signals complete with Spectacles retaining the glasses. The Home has 'Garnier 1/69' on the edge of the blade and the Distant has 'B.R.' on the edge. Both in really good condition. (DCO)

LNWR or possibly LMS Wooden Ticket Barrier ex Sutton Park station. A substantial oak piece that was stripped and repainted. Measures 42" x 30" and is quite heavy. (CO)

Enamel Advertising Sign 'Lewis & Frogatt - Frankwell - Shrewsbury - Established 1853, Ironmongers, Implement Dealers, Bicycle Agents, Oil Merchants'. Measures 24" x 15½", white lettering on blue ground. Some damage but certainly worth restoring.

Enamel Motoring Sign 'Prices Motor Oils', 25" x 20" blue, white and red, in need of restoration. Together with a circular, tinplate, double-sided sign 'Ask For Valvoline Marine Products'. Measures 30" diameter, red, white and blue. Well used. Finally, 'Lyons Tea', double sided sign measuring 18¼" x 12¼", both sides reasonable.(DCO)

Enamel Motoring Sign 'Pratts Perfection Spirit', double sided. Measures 21" x 18", black lettering with orange shadow on a yellow ground. Both sides extremely good.(DCO)

Enamel Motoring Sign 'Dunlop Stock Tyre', 51" x 20". Black, yellow and red in reasonable to good condition with minor bolt hole chipping and some edge /corner damage.(DCO)

Enamel Advertising Sign 'WD Land - Prohibited Entry', 30" x 24", black lettering on white ground. The rear is stencilled 'Out Of Bounds'. A war department relic of our now distant past. Extremely good condition.(DCO)

Enamel Motoring Sign 'India Superb Tyres - They Wear Longer' in two halves. The larger piece measures 72" x 36" and the smaller 55" x 36". Red lettering with black shadow on a pale blue ground. Good overall condition. (CO)

Enamel Motoring Sign 'Michelin', 23" x 30" shield shape with a small flange around the periphery. Depicts the Michelin Man next to a large Tyre, yellow, white and black on a blue ground. Excellent condition.(DCO)

Great Western Railway early enamel advertising sign 'G.W.R. H & RD For Cups & Saucers'. White lettering on cobalt blue ground, 18" x 12". Good condition overall, extremely rare and not seen previously. This would have been use within the Hotels & Refreshment Department.

Enamel Advertising Sign 'Testegas - The New Safe Lamp Oil'. White lettering on cobalt blue ground, 13" x 10". Good colour and shine, minimal bolt hole chipping and edge loss.

GWR fully titled cast iron Trespass Notice, 30¼" x 21¼" approximately, white lettering on black ground. Restored front and back. (DCO)

Midland Railway C/I Bridgeplate/Culvertplate No 18A. Measures 15¼" x 9", face only restored.

Ruston & Hornsby Ltd small brass Worksplate, Engine Number 26109 Lincoln England. Measures 4" x 2½" , also stamped PT 700.

Porterbrook Leasing alloy plate, 5" x 3½" reads "Porterbrook - This vehicle belongs to: Porterbrook Leasing Company Ltd" and has the company logo at the top. Black lettering engraved into brushed alloy, pristine condition.

Single Line Key Token INSTOW - BIDEFORD. Ex LSWR section on the North Devon route between Barnstaple and Torrington, closed to passengers on 4th October 1965 and to goods 6th September 1965. Ex Signalbox condition with much dark green paint still visible.

Single Line Key Token CHESTER No. 6 - GREEN LANE XING. Ex GWR route on the one time Paddington to Birkenhead line and put into operation when Saltney Signalbox closed once the junction had been taken out of use. Much red paint still visible.

Single Line Key Token HENBURY WEST - HALLEN MARSH. One time GWR route, this section was in use from 4th April 1993 until 28th June 1995 for Engineering Work on the Severn Bridge side of Bristol. Much blue paint still visible.

Measures 6½" x 8½" and is in original, if a little grubby, condition with original hanging string attached. Not seen one of these before.

Railway Plans, L&NWR hand coloured on linen, varying condition of Wolverhampton Station, qty 4. There are x3 quite large and one smaller each dated around the turn of the century. Incredible detail of the High Level Station and the surrounding area. Some not stored well so grubby and some damp damage but mostly recoverable.

Railway Plans, L&NWR hand coloured on linen, varying condition of Alerations to Wellingborough Station dated 1907, qty 8. Absolutely superb record of what the station looked like all those years ago. The plans are extremely detailed and one is even of the Urinals. No trackwork, pure architecture, don't miss these.

Railway Plans, NER hand coloured on linen, varying condition, qty 9 of alterations to Kirkby Stephen Station. Undated but extremely interesting from an architectural point, a couple show very detailed drawings of the footbridge and canopy. Also, a North British Railway Plan of Carlisle Canal Junction dated 1899, a little tatty around the edges but again of specific historical importance.

Totem, BR(M) FLITWICK, F/F. Ex Midland Railway main line just south of Bedford. Good colour and shine with a chip in the upper panel above the 'W', also above the 'T' and adjacent to the second 'I'. Would restore well without doubt.

Southern Railway 8 page mini brochure "Summer Trips Through 90 Miles of Thames Scenery, Oxford to Kingston". Season 1933 between Oxford, Wallingford, Henley, Windsor & Kingston - May 25th to Sept 23rd 1933. Measures 5½" x 3" at most, excellent condition and quite delightful.

British Railways (Sc) gilt totem Cap Badge by JR Gaunt in mint condition together with a circular British Railways Lion Holding Wheel enamel Badge with the number 8575 on rear, mint condition. Also a rectangular enamel Railfreight Badge by Manhattan Windsor England, mint condition.

Southern Railway EPNS Condiment Set Holder , clover-leaf deign with carrying handle unusually at the side. Bears the Southern Railways Garter logo beneath and the makers hallmark 'L&S' (Lee and Wigfull, Sheffield) In very good condition.

Southern Railway Marine Department EPNS Condiment Set Holder with central stalk and carrying hoop. Exquisitely marked on the side within a large shield, with the SR Flag and 'Southern' scroll beneath. Made by Walker & Hall. Good overall condition.

Southern Railway Marine Department EPNS Fish Knives, qty 4 made by Walker & Hall. All are in excellent condition and bear the SR Flag with 'Southern' in scroll beneath, on the handle. Well polished.

Southern Railway enamel Destination Indicator RAMSGATE. White on deep blue, mounted on the original, mahogany rotating plinth, 17½" x 2¼". Excellent colour and shine, some chipping as usual with these.

Substantial, triple-tone brass Chime Whistle, similar to those fitted to A4's & Britannias but with a slight difference to the casting beneath the cup, directly above the bottom nut and also a fluted top cap as opposed to a flat, parallel top cap. Most likely a Crosby from an American locomotive. A magnificent whistle standing 12½" high with a 13¼" circumference with plain 'nut' finial. The number 46837 is stamped on the bottom nut. Slightly dulled but would polish to a high standard very quickly.
